Every version kept. Tiny on disk. Nothing lost to an overwrite.
XiVault keeps a timeline of each protected file. The first copy is stored once; each later version adds only the blocks that changed. Overwritten, deleted or encrypted by ransomware — go back to any point.

Our performance rules
- Speed, memory, start-up and idle cost get a budget in the first plan.
- Profile first; optimise the largest share, not the guess.
- Every number states its baseline, input and machine.
- Every queue, cache and worker has a limit — over it, it reports instead of growing.
- Reuse proven tools (the OS, zstd, ICU) before building new ones.
Peer to peer + official sources
Official at the source. Peer to peer on your network. Only the changes on the wire.
XiKey products keep each system's own official updates and protection on, and add a private peer layer between your own devices. Data is compressed, cut into blocks, and only the blocks that changed travel.
